Product Description

Our contemporary embroided pouches draw inspiration from desert life, traditional cross-stitch embroidery (tatreez) as well as the rich symbolism of Jordan and the region. Each pouch beautifully blends tradition with modernity, meticulously crafted in Jordan to reflect the essence of our cultural heritage.

In Palestinian embroidery (Gaza area), the cypress tree (names "saru" in Arabic), is a powerful symbol of resistance, representing the steadfast spirit of the Palestinian people. Its depiction in traditional designs signifies the enduring struggle and resilience against adversity, highlighting the deep-rooted connection to the land and the unyielding determination to preserve cultural identity and heritage.

Material (outer): Black microsuede with black tassel
Material (inner): brown microsuede lining
Colored thread embroidery on both sides
