Can I exchange/return jewelry after purchase?

Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We only accept exchange returns if you received an incorrect or damaged item, which must be communicated to us within a maximum of 48 hours of receiving the order.    

Why do we have a no return policy you might ask..?

Firstly, and most importantly, we take the safety and hygiene of our beloved customers seriously. No refund means that we won’t be selling another customer a used item (even if it was just used once). We’re sure no one wants that, especially those with sensitive skin.

Secondly, considering we’re a small business, returns means extra costs and staff time, which means we would have to pass the cost back to you, the customer. Instead, we ask you to please make sure you add the right item to the basket, check all the specifications to make sure it’s exactly what you want, as well as choose the right size (where applicable).

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our no-return policy, and hope that our jewelry pieces make you as happy as they make us!

Do you accept custom jewelry orders?

We do not accept custom jewelry orders for a couple of important reasons:

Firstly, we are a small business with limited capacity. Producing custom-made pieces is a time-consuming and costly process. We want to focus our resources and attention on creating the best possible pieces for our customers.

Secondly, we take great pride in the pieces we make available to you. Each piece in our collection goes through a meticulous process that includes in-depth research about the history of the region and ancient symbolism, prototyping, and rigorous quality assurance. We believe in delivering the highest quality and most culturally meaningful jewelry to our customers.

Do your jewelry pieces come with a warranty?

No, our jewelry pieces do not come with a warranty.

Jewelry, no matter the metal it's made from, is not indestructible (yes, even gold!). It's important to take good care of your delicate pieces to ensure their longevity.

We are not responsible for any damages that might occur due to wear and tear or negligence. This includes breakage, loss of stones, loss of plating, or tarnishing.

Does the gold plating wear off over time?

The gold plating on silver jewelry can wear off, yes, revealing the color of the original silver underneath. The rate at which this happens depends on several factors:

  1. Wear and Tear: Gold-plated items can experience wear and tear over time, especially if they are frequently worn or come into contact with harsh substances. This wear can result in the gold plating rubbing off, revealing the silver underneath.
  2. Exposure to Chemicals: Exposure to certain chemicals, such as those found in perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products, can accelerate the deterioration of the gold plating and may contribute to changes in color.
  3. Skin Chemistry: The pH level of an individual's skin can also affect the longevity of gold plating. People with more acidic skin may experience faster wear of the plating compared to those with less acidic skin.
  4. Frequent Friction with Water: When gold-plated jewelry comes into frequent contact with water, especially during activities that involve movement or rubbing against surfaces (such as swimming or washing hands), the friction generated can lead to abrasion. My earring doesn't close back. Is it broken?

No, your earring is not necessarily broken. Earrings with a locking mechanism may sometimes require a simple adjustment.

Try gently pulling the curved post of the earring upwards to tighten it or pushing it down to loosen it. The curved post should fit the socket and close with a “clicking” sound.

Why is the connecting area on my waterproof jewelry not gold-plated?

For our waterproof PVD gold-plated items, it's important to understand that certain edges and points where earrings and bangles connect are intentionally left un-plated. This decision is made to prevent sticking during the plating process, ensuring both the functionality and the aesthetic integrity of your jewelry are maintained over time.

Is it possible to get my order delivered on the same day?

Unfortunately, we don't offer same-day delivery.

Orders placed before 6pm will be delivered the following day, and please note that we do not deliver on Fridays.
