Enamel Tatreez Bangle

The Enamel Tatreez Bangle features a design inspired by Palestinian embroidery, known as "Tatreez". "Tatreez" is a traditional form of embroidery stitching that tells cultural stories through patterns. This bangle incorporates a simplified Tatreez design, modernized with a lilac enamel addition.

"Tatreez" is the art of cross-stitch embroidery which originated in Palestine more than five centuries ago. Passed down from mothers to daughters like cherished family recipes, Tatreez has become a cultural legacy. The art serves as a form of identity and heritage, intricately woven into the fabric of a woman's dress (thoub). Each pattern is unique to its region, allowing a woman's roots and history to be discerned through her attire.
